Vidya says she is ready to do more kissing scenes

Actress Vidya Balan recently appeared in a kissing sequence in her movie ‘Guru’ and when asked about the scene she astonished everyone with her positive attitude and her willingness to do more such scenes but only in an “aesthetic way” as she puts it. In the interview with a tabloid, she admitted that the kissing sequence in ‘Guru’ was one such scene because it was not shot in a manner to arouse sexual desire of the viewers. “I can't cross my boundary” she said.

Vidya justified her kissing scene in the movie saying that it was something different from the kind of skin exposure other actresses do. She also expressed her willingness to be part of more such scenes in the future “As long as it is shot in an aesthetic manner”. “It depends on the way your director interprets the scene that makes a difference. So I am always ready for a kiss sequence provided I have trust in my director”.

Now that she has become an experienced actress, more such scenes would sure add to her experience. And with an open attitude to these kinds of scenes she can make a good choice for many top directors who would love to make their movies more ardent and emotionally rich.
